Lauren J. Cozzolino, MS, LPC, NCC

It is my greatest privilege to be a professional counselor and to be trusted with your story.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Drew University, and completed my graduate degree in counseling from Monmouth University.

I have years of experience providing counseling in K-12 public schools to elementary, middle, and high school aged students, and have worked in a variety of intensive treatment settings such as intensive outpatient, intensive in-community counseling, and intensive school-based counseling programs.

I am passionate about community advocacy and have led/co-led several trainings on LGBTQIA+ affirming care and Shame Resilience Theory (SRT) to other healthcare professionals. I am published in The Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision (2023) and The Journal of Interpersonal Violence (2022).

Outside of my career, my favorite ways to spend my time are mindful walks in nature, live music concerts, cooking (Iā€™m an Italian foodie), gardening, all things whimsical and enchanted, all things Star Wars, and spending time with my family, friends, and my beloved rescue pup, Zuko.
